Cirque Colors Facets 2018 Collection – Swatches & Review – Part I

cirque colors facets 2018

Hi guys!! Today I have first part of Cirque Colors Facets 2018 collection to show you. Whole collection consists of twelve shades, six new and six reborn. I divided them to two groups according to colour, because there would be to many photos for just one post.

First six I am going to show you are: Rose Quartz, Morganite, Padparadscha, Ruby, Garnet and Smoky Quartz. Three of these are new, now let me show you all of them and you will also get to see the comparison shot with reborn ones.

The formulas slightly differ from shade to shade, but they all contain holographic flakes.

Now let’s start with swatches.

Rose Quartz* – Cirque Colors Facets 2018

I had such high hopes for this polish. I absolutely love the look in the bottle. But it’s a bit warmer on my hands and too sheer for my taste. I painted three coats on middle and ring finger and the rest are covered in two. Two coats are too sheer for me, although the sheerness isn’t really visible in the photos. But you can see it is cooler looking in the bottle and warm on my nails.

Morganite* – Cirque Colors Facets 2018

Morganite is a reborn shade. It’s a peachy sheer jelly full of holographic flakes. I applied two coats, but the polish wasn’t fully opaque. It needs three coats.

Padparadscha* – Cirque Colors Facets 2018

I am not sure if I pronounce the name correctly. I did google it though. It is a sort of sapphire, just so you know 🙂 . Well, the formula was easy to work with and it was fully opaque in two coats. It has a jelly formula with light red base and lots of holographic flakes.

Ruby* – Cirque Colors Facets 2018

Ruby is my favourite of the bunch and together with Sapphire my favourite of the collection. It’s such a pretty red with lots of sparkly holographic flakes. I applied two coats here, but you can easily make it opaque in one lumpy coat. And the formula is easy to. Perfection *_*

Garnet* – Cirque Colors Facets 2018

Garnet is a reborn too. I have to say that it is a bit different from the old one. I like them both, but the old one looks a bit deeper, so I prefer the older version.

It was easy to apply and you can make this one fully opaque with only one lumpy coat too. I applied two here.

Smoky Quartz* – Cirque Colors Facets 2018

Another reborn. Smoky Quartz is a holographic polish with dark, almost black base. It is fully opaque in two coats and it has an easy formula to work with.
