Hi guys!! Every year, now for the third time in a row, Nika Veger organizes a conference for beauty bloggers called Beautiful Bloggers MeetUp 2017. I attended all of them and I am very happy that I did. I learnt a lot and I met a lot of wonderful girls. But this year was a bit different for me. I evolved true friendships with some of the bloggers and I feel like these conferences had a lot to do with that.
There is also one other thing, I have grown a lot since the first meet up. There was one great lecture this year, about personal growth and how we treat each other. It was my favourite and I agree with everything the lecturer told us. We have to work on ourselves, our self esteem, help each other, we have to be kind to each other and we have to cherish one another. We have to encourage each other and not see one another as competition. And most important of all, we have to feel all of this, we have to internalise this, so that it becomes a part of our personality. I was very impressed by her words and I will do my best to work on myself and do what she said. And now I am starting to sound a bit philosophical, so I will stop at this point.
I also got an opportunity to chat with a lot of sponsors and representatives and it was great to finally meet persons behind emails. We got a lot of amazing gifts this year and I am very grateful for that. I won’t be showing them here, but you will learn about them in the upcoming posts, once I use and test them properly.
Having Influence On Your Readers/Followers And Being Responsible About It
This was a theme of a round table. And I must tell you that I never thought of having a big effect on people. But listening to the girls on the stage made me realise that I do. And even if only on one person, that’s enough. So we have to be responsible and portray ourselves as we are. We mustn’t share a distorted image of ourself. We have to tell you that we are not perfect, just as no one is, so keep that in mind. Even if a blogger you are following is having the most perfect life online, believe me, that is a distorted picture. Everyone has they’re own problems, so don’t think that you have to live that perfect life which is a product of social media. Be yourself, with all imperfections and love yourself as you are, always!
And I promise you I will be as honest as one can be and I will continue to portray myself as I am. So no fake posts from me!
Here are some of the girls that I love: in the upper photo is me and Nika Veger (Beautifullblog).
And here you can see the rest of the photos. They are not the best of quality, but they will have to do. Enjoy! I certainly enjoyed my time at Beautiful Bloggers MeetUp 2017!
