Hi guys!! Fall is here in full swing and I am craving for some proper fall nail polish. I was very eager to see what Essie had in store for us, but I was sooo disappointed by the collection, so I was putting all my hopes into Annie’s collection. And I was very happy to see it. I am very much into earth tones this fall and this Cirque Colors Fall 2017 Metropolis collection totally delivered.
I have to say a few words about the formula here. It is somewhat similar to the US Essie formula, it’s a bit plasticised and I love that. This means it is a bit thick and it gives the polish great shine. So if you like essies, than you will definitely like these too.
So without further ado I represent the polishes from the collection.
Madison* – Cirque Colors Fall 2017
Beautiful warm nude. It’s a tad darker than my skin, but it looks beautiful on nails. And the formula is great too. It covers in two coats.
Sartorial* – Cirque Colors Fall 2017
It’s my kind of lilac, with a bit of warmth. And the formula is amazing I tell you, it’s a one coater!! I put only one coat on my pinky, so you see how well it covers the nail.
Spotted In Soho* – Cirque Colors Fall 2017
It’s a light terracotta nail polish with a hint of pink. In some lights it looks almost pink. And I suppose it also depends on your skin tone how this polish will look on you.
It needed two easy coats for full opacity.
Urbanized* – Cirque Colors Fall 2017
I am not sure what it is about these “dirty” yellows, but I love them. The color is so popular in stores right now and voila, here is the polish you can wear with those cloths. I don’t have any cloths in this color, because I wouldn’t know how to wear them, but nail polish is so easily wearable. And the formula is again, easy to work with and the polish is opaque in two coats.
Coffee Talk* – Cirque Colors Fall 2017
This is probably my least favourite shade. And for no particular reason. It needed two easy coats for full opacity.
Red Hook* – Cirque Colors Fall 2017
And here is my favourite. A beautiful terracotta shade. I wasn’t sure how this will work with my skin tone. I was affraid my hands would turn red, but they didn’t. It’s a perfect neutral for fall!
The formula was easy to work with and it needed two coats for full opacity.
The shades from Cirque Colors Fall 2017 collection are already available on their site, but you want to check with their stockists. I am not sure when are they getting them. They also have a Maison collection, which I will be swatching in upcoming days and then I will have it on my blog.
Have a nice one and enjoy your day!! xoxo
