Hi guys!! Today I will be talking about what kept my lips & hands in check this winter. One product was added only in February, but it’s doing an amazing job, so I will include it here too. I’ve been on a hunt for a great lip care forever and I think I’ve finally found what I was looking for. And for the hands? Well, I’ve used great products in the past too, but I decided to try a new one and I was very impressed.
Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm Rêve de Miel – Nuxe
This lip balm did an amazing job for my lips during this winter. It helped me nourish, repair, soothe and protect my damaged lips with honey and vitamin E. I was surprised how well it worked. I used it mainly in the evenings (the first time I over applied it and got a spot next to my lip, because I didn’t believe that a normal amount of balm could make such a difference). And I was using it during the day too, especially when I went out and about.
Thanks to its unique texture I had no feeling on having anything on my lips. It’s light and non greasy. And perfect to wear under matte lipsticks believe me. My lips dry horribly when wearing matte lipsticks, but not when I’m using Lip Balm Rêve de Miel.
My pot is from limited edition, they both are, but the formula is the same as with the ordinary packaging.
Popcorn Lip scrub – Lush
This is the product I’ve only been using since February, but it impressed me so well. With sugar, sea salt and polenta combined with coconut and jojoba oils it buffs and primes your lips. They are prepared for further care with lip balms and all that dead skin is history. You can use it to better prep your lips for matte lipsticks or just to pamper your lips. And don’t get carried away to much, this is still a mechanical scrub so you don’t want to use it too much.
And have I mentioned how great it tastes and that you can eat it after you’re done with scrubbing :)? This is the list of ingredients, so you can be sure it’s edible: Caster Sugar, Organic Jojoba Oil, Fine Sea Salt, Polenta, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Popping Candy and Flavour.
Hand And Nail Cream Rêve de Miel – Nuxe
I purchased this cream only because the lip balm was so impressive. And I decided to give this one a try too. I must say I wasn’t disappointed. It’s one of the best hand moisturisers I’ve tried and I have tried many, believe me. It can be easily compared with L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Hand Cream. I actually like this one better, because it’s not as greasy, so I can use it during the day too.
My hands were well moisturised throughout the whole winter and I was using only this cream. And for the cuticles I used Jessica Phenomen Oil and not every day.
And what are your essentials for lips & hands during winter? What is a must have in your stash?
