Hi!! I have some retro nails for you today. They were quite easy to make, but it took me some time to finish them. And I believe you can speed that up. So let’s see some more photos and how I made them, shall we?
I started with two coats of Avon – Mint To Be* and I waited until it was dry to the touch. Then I took Avon – Sapphired Up* (they are both swatched here: Avon Mark. Greens & Blues) and drew over the mint some sort of half moon, strange half moon. And after the blue polish was dry, I drew the mint over it to create this pattern that was popular in the 70’s.
I waited quite a lot of time before I applied the second and then the first polish again, so I think you can save some time here if you wait less time.
In the end I sealed the manicure with fast drying top coat as usual.
What do you think of my retro nails? Would you wear them? I must say I really like the result, although I wasn’t so sure about it when I started doing them.
Thank you for reading! xoxo
