Cirque Colors – Kawaii Collection – Swatches & Review – Part One

cirque colors kawaii collection

Hi guys!! There are two posts on my blog today, part 0ne of Cirque Colors Kawaii collection and part two. This is part 0ne. I separated the collection in two parts, because there are too many polishes for only one post. It’s saturated with photos as it is, but if there were 50 photos in one post, that would become unreadable.

As you all noticed the Cirque Colors got a new look. I was a bit sad when I first saw it, since I loved the old sign. But as time passed the new sign and the new boxes started to grow on me. And I have to admit that I am loving it every day more and more. I’m not sure if the change is for the better, because I saw all the comments on IG, but I do like it and accept it. Oh, and the bottle size didn’t change, the bottle itself and the brush actually stayed the same. And I haven’t noticed any change in polish quality, so you don’t have to worry about that.

Now let’s get down to business and see first five shades.

Lolly Lips* – Cirque Colors Kawaii

This is a bright redish pink. I love it and I love how it goes well with my skin tone. It has my favourite finish, the holographic particles are a bit bigger and I love that.

It has an easy formula, a bit thick, but still easy to work with. And it was opaque in two coats.

Killer Kitsch* – Cirque Colors Kawaii

This will be perfect for the hot summer days. The pink sheen gives it a bit of old school touch, but in a good way. I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I ended up loving it.

The formula is normal with this one and opaque in two coats.

Happy Monday* – Cirque Colors Kawaii

This one has a sheen too, but for me it’s not old school. It’s a pink sheen over lilac holo.

The formula was the same as with the previous one and easy to work with.

QT Kitty* – Cirque Colors Kawaii

This polish is pure gorgeousness *_*. It has my favourite finish and the shade is deep purple (which is by the way one of my favourite bands 🙂 ).

The formula was easy to work with. And if you apply a thick coat, you can make it opaque in one coat. I did two here.

Crystal Tokyo* – Cirque Colors Kawaii

I fell in love with this topper when I saw it on Cirque’s IG stories. It’s sooo cute. But it’s glitter and I am not a big fan of glitter. But still, it’s one of the best looking glitters I’ve seen and I could wear it as an accent nail in combination with some nail art.

The formula is very thick, because it must hold all the glitter from sinking to the bottom of the bottle. It wasn’t to hard to apply and the glitter payout is great. I applied one coat over white polish.

I’m one of those unhappy avout the new packaging. And why do bloggers who received the new polishes for free keep saying the bottle is the same? It’s just ourageous. It contains 11 ml of product now, the old bottles were 13 ml (which was already too littlebecause the standard is 15).

Hi Marina. I am not saying that the bottle is the same, because I got polishes for free, but because it is. You can check my IG stories, I just posted a video of comparing the bottles. The old one and the new one 😉

The bottles may look the same, but the new ones contain less polish. Didn’t you read th info on the box? 11 ml.

I wasn’t talking about the amount of polish, I was talking about the bottle. The bottle stayed the same and the brush stayed the same. That is important to me. And I wasn’t talking about the content of the bottles staying the same.

Thank you for these swatches, they’re beautiful, regardless of bottle size drama 😉
