Mandala Nails

mandala nails

Hi guys!! Today I have a very bright and colourful nails for you. I call them Mandala nails, since they remind me a lot of those Mandala colouring books that are so popular lately. You can paint them in any colours you like and there are thousands of patterns to choose from. Well, I didn’t have as many, but still enough to make these nails. And I chose some bright colours, since they are so popular this spring.

Here is how I made them.

I started with applying two coats of Essie – Blanc as white canvas for mandala nail art. And then I did pinky in Essie – Udon Know Me, middle finger in Essie – B’Aha Moment! and pointer in Essie – Backseat Besties (both swatched in Essie Spring 2017 collection post).

After I did two coats on all the nails I started with reverse stamping. For ring finger I used Bundle Monster BM-S302 plate and MoYou London – Black Knight stamping polish. After I transferred the pattern on to the stamper, I waited so the black polish was dry. And then I painted the pattern with Essie – Aim To Misbehave, Udon Know Me, B’Aha Moment! and Backseat Besties. When all the polishes were dry I stamped it on my nail. I cleaned up the skin around the nail and started with the pattern for thumb.

This time I used Bundle Monster BM-S301 plate and Black Knight again. And the same polishes as with the first one, to paint the mandala pattern. I stamped it on to the nail as I did the first one, did the clean up and then I sealed the whole manicure with fast drying top coat.

What do you think of my mandala nails? Too colourful? I think they need to be and I feel like having Indian fabric wrapped around my nails 🙂 .

Thank you for reading my dear followers and see you in the next post. xoxo
