Hi guys!! I got 18 polishes from Avon Mark. line and I will be showing you all of them. Just not in the same post, because that would be too much. So I decided to divide them in to three groups of six polishes and here I have the first six swatched and reviewed for you. I call this group the greens and the blues and I must say I was impressed by the formula, especially of the lighter shades. But let me talk about that when we come to the shades.
Here they are.
Rain Washed – Avon Mark.*
This is a beautiful pale blue/lilac. The formula was amazing, which surprised me to be honest. You know how hard it is to work with this type of polishes. But here I had no trouble with application, there was no streakiness and it was opaque in two coats.
Mint To Be – Avon Mark.*
It’s a creme mint, well obviously. And I love that fact, because I haven’t swatched a creme mint in a while.
The formula wasn’t as good as with the first one, but it was ok. I mean when you try a formula like with the first one, you get spoilt and anything not as good isn’t ok. So, I’d say it’s ok, but no amazing 🙂 .
Lavender Sky – Avon Mark.*
You can make it opaque in only one very lumpy coat. I applied two here and they were very easy. I feel like the second coat gives the polish extra dusty look that only one coat doesn’t.
Citronized – Avon Mark.*
It’s such an interesting shade. It’s not a bright colour, it’s a bit muted. And I feel like it’s perfect for spicing up your look. It’s not in your face colour, but people will definitely notice it. So if you like something out of ordinary I suggest you go for it. I know I will.
It was opaque in two coats and the formula was a bit thick, but not too much.
Emerald City – Avon Mark.*
I have to warn you here, that this polish does stain your skin if you’re not careful enough upon removal. I was a bit sloppy with my pinky, so my skin got stained and I couldn’t get it off of it. So I had to wait a bit for polish to get of my skin before swatching the last shade :).
But the formula was great and it was opaque in two easy coats.
Sapphired Up – Avon Mark.*
This is a gorgeous navy blue. It’s darker in person, but I couldn’t translate that into photos. It looks as if you had blue velvet on your nails *_*.
You can make this polish opaque in one easy lumpy coat, but I did two, just in case.
What do you think guys? I really like these and I think they are my favourite group out of the Mark. line I7m swatching. You’ll see all the other polishes in two more posts. And in the mean time you can get them all here.
And I already have some nail art in the Avon Mark. spirit. Check it here: Avon Mark. – Daring, Creative & Trendy.
Thank you for reading and see you in the next post. xoxo
