Hi guys!! Today I have for you Il Etait Un Vernis – So Cabaret collection. It’s a very versatile collection, all sorts of colours in it and a top coat too. So let me get started with the shades. Oh, and I loved all of the polishes, so there will only be praises about them.
Hocus Pocus* – Il Etait Un Vernis So Cabaret
Hocus Pocus is soo beautiful. It feels like such a delicate shade and it has a bit of a multi chrome going on in there. I must say it’s a very different shade from what I have in my stash. I think it’s my favourite of the collection.
It was opaque in two easy coats. And it looked as if it will be one of those streaky polishes, but when it dried it ended up being just like it is in the bottle.
Pretty In Ink* – Il Etait Un Vernis So Cabaret
I know this polish isn’t the most unique polish in the world, but it’s beautiful nonetheless. And if you don’t have such shade in your stash yet, I recommend you buying it. Because it was very easy to apply, no clean up needed.
And it was opaque in two coats.
Offstage* – Il Etait Un Vernis So Cabaret
This polish looks like green velvet on your nails. The colour is so rich and deep and I don’t have anything like it in my stash, at least I can’t think of any right now.
It was easily opaque in one coat and as deep with only one coat as it is with two.
Curtain Call* – Il Etait Un Vernis So Cabaret
Again, not the most unique, but sooo beautiful. And perfect for this collection.
It was opaque in two easy coats, but if you made one lumpy I think you could get away with only one.
It’s Showtime Ladies!* – Il Etait Un Vernis So Cabaret
I didn’t know this was a top coat until I saw it on IG. Marion topped it over a white and it looked absolutely stunning. Better than what I did with the red. This polish was a surprise for me and a pleasant one!
I did one coat over Curtain Call here.
Thank you for reading and see you in the next post. xoxo
