Hi guys!! This is a nail art I’ve done way back, I think when I swatched the Essie Fall 2016 collection, because these two are the polishes from that collection. So in September probably. I don’t know why I haven’t published it before. But now I found the map containing these photos and it felt like the right time to make a post about it. So here they are, my fashion show nails.
I wanted to make nail art with naked nails for so long and when I finally decided to make it I went with a french twist. First I applied one coat of base coat and then I painted french tips free hand with Essie – Go Go Geisha. The purple stripe was made with stamping, but I can’t remember which plate I used. It was probably one of MoYou London‘s, but I can’t be certain.
The polish I used for stamping was Essie – Kimono-over and it wasn’t opaque enough once I stamped it. So I corrected the stripes free hand and added a bit of polish to make it fully opaque.
I sealed the whole thing with a fast drying top coat.
What do you think of my fashion show nails? I think this mani will be great when the spring comes. I don’t know why, but it makes me think of cherry blossom.
I hope you liked it and give it a try, because it was easy to make.
Thank you for reading and see you in the next post. xoxo
