Snowflake Stamping

snowflake stamping

Hi guys!! I have another snowflake stamping mani for you, because it’s still very very cold here and we still have some snow here and there. I decided to make a very simple stamping, but it ended up quite interesting. And I will tell you more when we come to it.

So let’s get started.

My base here was Il Etait Un Vernis – Teach Me Tonight, one of my favourites of 2016. And for the stamping I used MoYou London Enchanted plate No. 16 and a white (yes, a white) stamping polish MoYou London – White Knight.

Everything looked normal right up until I sealed the mani with Essie – Good To Go. And I doubt it’s Essie’s reason for the white polish turning purple/lilac, because up until now no polish turned it’s normal colour. And at first it was still white, but after a few minutes when I looked back at my nails, the polish was purple. So in my opinion Teach Me Tonight is the reason for this change. It’s magic polish I tell you :D.

What do you think? To simple? My main fascination here is how the white turned purple. I’ll try stamping Teach Me Tonight with other colours too and I will tell you if they change colour too.

Thank you for reading and see you next time!! xoxo

I love how this turned out! I have a KleanColors polish that does the same thing when topcoat is applied to it.
