Cirque Colors – Holiday 2016 Collection – Swatches & Review

cirque colors holiday 2016 collection

Hi guys!! I know I know, we’re in the middle of November, but I have a first Holiday collection for you. This is Cirque Colors Holiday 2016* collection and it consists of four shades. And one of the shades is a re-release from last year. They are all sparkly, two are holographic and two are high reflective mirror-like shades. I must say that I am in love with all of the shades from this collection, so there will only be praising :). I really love the colours, the finishes, the formula, well everything. And now without the further adieu let’s get started.

Winter Bloom – Cirque Colors Holiday 2016

When I swatched this one and I went to the bathroom to take it off, I was very sad. It’s so beautiful on nails that I didn’t want to take it off. It’s gorgeous in the bottle and it’s even better on the nails. And it is a bit greener in person, but just a bit. So let’s say it’s a green turquoise.

It is very sheer, so you have to apply three coats for full opacity, but I didn’t mind that. The base is a sheer turquoise full of multicoloured holographic flakes. And it has some purple sheen going on in there. And the application was very easy.

Idyllic – Cirque Colors Holiday 2016

When I first opened the package when it arrived I was like whaaat, this is not the right polish, this is silver and not blue at all. But then after a few minutes it started to look like blue/silver polish. And when I was swatching it looked bluer every second. It can be blue and silver at the same time if that makes any sense. It’s like a chameleon, only it’s two colours at the same time and changing all the time, really trick I tell you :).

And I love it more and more. It’s a high-reflective blue made with pure silver coated micro-flakes. I love this type of finish from Cirque Colors, I’ve been raving about it last year too, but we will come to that soon.

It needed two easy coats to reach full opacity.

Ambrosia – Cirque Colors Holiday 2016

Huh, this one is a beauty too. A deep oxblood polish with holohraphic effect. What is not to love about it. It went on smoothly and it was opaque in two coats. Very perfect for this time of year.

Halcyon – Cirque Colors Holiday 2016

And finally the polish that has been brought back from Holiday 2015 collection. I loved it then and I love it now. It is my rose gold love that still lasts. It’s only that this polish leans more towards peach then rose. It was easy to apply and it needed two coats for full opacity.

I have to tell you that this here is the last year’s version, because I decided to include the new version in to my blogiversary giveaway that I will be having soon. So stay tuned for that ;).

How does Winter Bloom compare to ILNP Rolling Hills or KB Shimmer Flake Me Home Tonight?

      I’m sorry, I don’t have either, so I can’t compare them.
