Hi guys!! I am back with my nail art, a two weeks overdue nail art I might add. These Halloween spider web nails were on my to do list for more than two weeks, but I just couldn’t get myself to doing them. I knew I had to draw the spider free hand and I wasn’t sure about the web, so I delayed it as much as I could :). Silly I know, but that’s how it was. But now I finally made them and I am very happy about them.
Let’s see what I used and how I created them.
My choice I chose for the base colour/polish was Jessica – Pumpkin Delight*. I got this polish as a gift when I attended press conference with Jessica Vartoughian, the founder of Jessica Cosmetics. At the time I thought it will look perfect in autumnal/Halloween manicures and I was right.
Well, for the accent nails I chose Cirque Colors – Counterculture as the base. Then I applied dry brush strokes of Essie – Playing Koi (find review here: Essie Fall 2016 – Kimono-Over Collection), Essie – Aim To Misbehave and again Counterculture. Aim To Misbehave gave nails a bit of sparkle, so that they weren’t dull. After the polishes were dry I stamped the spider web with MoYou London – Black Knight, MoYou London – Pro collection XL No. 5 stamping plate and Born Pretty – Clear Jelly stamper. I waited a bit so the polish dried and then I drew the spider on my middle finger free hand with black acrylic paint.
I topped the accent nails with MoYou London – Top Coat and then sealed everything with fast drying top coat.
So how do you like this Halloween spider web manicure? I love it and I love how layering on accent nails looks, perfect for Halloween.
Thank you guys for reading and I would be most grateful if you shared this mani on social media. Thank you and xoxo!
