Hi guys!!! I’m back with some more swatches. And today I have for you the beautiful Cirque Colors Fall 2016 – Metropolis Collection*. These six dusty shades are an addition to their main range of creme polishes in the Metropolis collection. This time we have 6 sumptuous colours ranging from stormy blue-gray to milk chocolate-rose. And all the polishes in this collection are inspired by New York City.
Now let’s move on to the swatches.
Dakota – Cirque Colors Fall 2016
This is a peachy pink nude. The peachy and the pink part are very subtle, but they are there.
The formula was a bit difficult with the first coat. The second was easier, but there were still some streaks present. And I think the top coat would level everything out, because in my case it usually does. I must point out here that all the swatches here are made without a top coat. And the polish was opaque in two coats.
Fast Fashion – Cirque Colors Fall 2016
This is a medium tan rose nail varnish or as I would describe it it’s like having cinnamon on nails :). I am still not sure about this type of colour on my nails. I suppose it’s too warm for my skin tone or something and I feel like having no nails :). But I will try and wear them some more, because I’m slowly starting to like them.
I reached full opacity with one coat, but I did two. And I think the second coat made the colour lighter. And the application here was easy.
Storm King – Cirque Colors Fall 2016
I really like this one. This is a light blue grey creme. It’s not as blue in person as it is here in the photos, but it does have some blue undertones to it. It’s like having a dusty baby blue fog on your nails.
The formula was great and it was easily opaque in two coats.
Central Park After Dark – Cirque Colors Fall 2016
I was very curious how would this soft olive green creme look on my nails. And I have to say that I love it. It feels so sofisticated and I don’t think I have anything like it in my stash that comes close to this one.
And the formula was great again. I needed two easy coats to reach full opacity.
Cosmopolitan – Cirque Colors Fall 2016
Waw *_*. This is one of my favourites of the collection. Maybe this dusty orchid is more suitable for the spring time, but I like it here in the fall. And this dusty feeling gives it a fall vibe.
This polish has a perfect formula and opacity can be reached with one coat, but it’s better to use two.
Bond St – Cirque Colors Fall 2016
Again, WAW *_*. Well you guessed it, this is another favourite of mine. Soooo vibrant and sooo pigmented. And it looks as if I had velvet on my nails. I think this amazing pigmentation gives it a mysterious depth. Soooo beautiful!!!
And it was opaque in one easy coat, but I did two as always.
Another look at all the polishes together.
What do you think of Cirque Colors Fall 2016 collection? I know it’s not your usual fall collection, but there are some gorgeous shades in there.
