Hi guys!! Today I have some stamping for you. And I made it with two products from Born Pretty store. I chose the Harunouta L010 plate* (ID:30341), because I’ve seen the review on Katja’s blog and I knew I had to have it. And I chose this stamper (ID:25560), because I was on the hunt for a clear jell stamper*. And they also included gold and silver nail foil that I will review some other time.
I’ve been on a hunt for a plate with the plaid patterns for a while and the timing was perfect when they contacted me and asked me to choose three of their products to review. I knew Katja’s review and I chose it.
And I am very impressed with both products. You can see how well the pattern transfers to the stamper. I was amazed. I have two other clear stampers, I haven’t tried one yet, but the other needed a gentle filing before it started fully working. So it’s not clear anymore, but I still see where to stamp the pattern. But this stamper from Born Pretty store didn’t need any preparation. It picked the whole pattern straight away and it does it perfectly every time. And the polish I used here isn’t even a stamping polish.
So now let’s talk more about the mani I created with this pattern.
Here it is. I used O.P.I – Be There In A Prosecco as my base (you can check for the swatches here: O.P.I Fall/Winter 2015 – Venice Collection). I waited a bit so that it got dry and then I stamped the pattern with O.P.I – First Class Desires. The polish is a lot darker if you wear it as a regular manicure. But here the purple base of the polish comes out. And in the end I used a mattifying top coat to make it a bit different from what I normally do.
How do you like it? I love the clear stamper and the plate. To tell you the truth I wasn’t expecting such great results, but I think I just found my favourite clear jelly stamper.
And let’s not forget about the scraper. It’s clear and flexible and again, I thought it wouldn’t work, but it did, perfectly. So it’s safe for me to say I was impressed with all of the products. And I am not just saying this because I got them, but because they really do their job how they are supposed to.
You can find both products on their site BornPrettyStore.com and don’t forget to use my 10% off code LQBW10 (it works on original price items).
Thank you guys for reading and see you in the next post, hopefully with some swatches. So stay tuned! xoxo
