Hi guys!! We’re well in to September already so I decided to make another school nails. You can check my first mani in this post: Back To School Nails Made With Reverse Stamping. This time I went for numbers, so here they are, school numbered nails. And to go with the fall I chose some fall appropriate colours.
We still have summer weather here, but I can’t wait for the fall to start. I feel to hot all the time and I want to wear fall hues on my nails, so fall, please come already :).
And here is how I made these. I used holographic polishes this time and they were sparkling like crazy. My camera had some problems with it this time.
The base I used was ILNP – Clockwork and I did two coats of it. Then I decided to make number decals on my workshop mat. For that I used What’s Up Nails Numbers Nail vinyls*. I pasted three vinyls on to my mat and brushed two with ILNP – Greatness and one with ILNP – Overnight Bag. Then I removed the vinyls and waited a bit for polish to dry. I applied one layer of top coat over the numbers to make the decals. I waited again a bit for polish to dry and then I transfered the decals onto my nails. The one made with Overnight Bag went on to my thumb, and the other to on my ring and middle finger.
After I was done with the clean up I applied one layer of ILNP – Glory over pointer and pinkie to round up the manicure. I sealed everything with a fast drying top coat.
And if you want you can also check the swatches and review of all the polishes used for this manicure in this post: ILNP – Fall 2015 Collection – My Picks – Swatches & Review.
How did you like these school numbered nails?
Thank you for reading and see you in the next post. xoxo
