Hi guys!!!! Finally! I have migrated from Blogger to self hosted WordPress and the look of the blog is almost there. I have some minor changes to make and the menu is still not working properly, but I am getting there. So be patient with me. This is my first post that I am writing in WordPress :). I have to get acquainted with all the features that are here, but so far I am liking it. And now on to why you’re really here. The O.P.I – I’m Soo Swamped swatches and review, the nail polish you can find in spring/summer 2016 New Orleans collection. Here are the photos of the polish and then some more photos of the nail art.
You can see it’s a beautiful grass green colour, which I love about it, that’s why I bought it. I have nothing of a kind in my stash and I always wanted a natural green. I have so many turquoises and blue looking greens, but nothing looking quite so natural. And to be honest it looks amazing on nails too. I bought it for the nail art purposes, but I will definitely wear it on its own again.
The formula is easy to work with. I had no clean up to do, it was that easy to apply. I did two coats for full opacity and it was levelling itself out beautifully. The consistency of the formula was perfect, not to thick and not to watery, just right.
And finally some nail art. I decided to do the stamping, it’s easy and it changes the base polish a bit. I wasn’t ready for complicated nail art yet. This migration thing totally wore me out.
I chose a pattern from Bundle Monster plate BM-S304 (I am in love with their plates lately, all the patterns transfer perfectly) and Kaleidoscope stamping polish – 01 black. But firstly I applied one coat of topper Cirque Colors – We Trippy. After I was done with the stamping I cleaned everything and sealed the mani with fast drying top coat. And apparently I didn’t wait long enough, because the pattern smudged a bit. I’ll be more patient next time, I promise.
What do you think of it guys? I say it’s a simple ‘no fuss’ mani which was exactly what I was able to produce at this time. I’ll be more creative next time :).
Have fun and see you in next post! xoxo
