Hi guys!! Today we’re going to our second part of summer vacation, to island Krk. We’ll be gone for two weeks, but I have one post ready for you to read during these two weeks. I know it’s not much, but I was so busy with packing and everything that I didn’t have the time for anything more. And you can follow me on Instagram or other social media for some photos of nail polish related and non-related stuff.
And now on to my monochrome geometric nails. I craved for something like this. I wanted to do something with white, but I didn’t want to make another mani like the two I made a few posts back (Essie Summer White & Green Simple Nails and Picture Polish Summer White & Pink & Purple Geometric Nails). So I decided to do some stamping. I checked my stash of stamping plates and found two that were perfect for this mani.
So, my base here was Essie – Coconut Cove and the varnish I stamped the pattern with was Essie – Tribal Text-Styles. They are both a part of Essie Summer 2016 – Viva Antigua! Collection – Swatches & Review. The writing on my thumb was taken from Bundle Monster plate BM-S305. And the pattern on all the other nails was from Bundle Monster plate BM-S307. After everything was stamped I waited a bit for the patterns to get dry. And then I sealed the monochrome geometric nails with fast drying top coat.
What are your thoughts on this one? I love it!! It’s minimalist yet interesting and dynamic. And the most I love about it is that writing on my thumb. It’s like those motivational tattoos which are supposed to become popular, but it’s right there on your thumb. You can write or stamp on it anything you like, anything that boosts your mood and it looks so freaking elegant! I think I’m going to stamp quotations on my thumbs more often, because I kept looking at this one. I loved it’s effect!
Well clearly you see my enthusiasm about these monochrome geometric nails, so I am interested if you ever wear anything motivational on your skin, nails, clothes? And what is it?
Thank you for taking your time to read this post and if you liked it you might want to share it with your friends. The share buttons are just down bellow. Have fun!! xoxo
