Hi guys!!! Today I am going to talk about another beautiful summer collection. This one is from a French nail polish brand Il Etait Un Vernis and is called Welcome To Paradise*. Such a perfect name for a summer collection. It’s made out of subtle holographic brights and the rose gold has a metallic touch to it.
Now let’s move on to the swatches and reviews.
All Is Gold – Il Etait Un Vernis Welcome To Paradise collection
Waaaaa! It’s a one coater, rose gold one coater *_*. You know I’m a sucker for rose gold, so I was really enthusiastic about this polish. I wished it wouldn’t be sheer and my wish came true! And it’s got a bit of shimmer going on in there and it makes it look metallic with a subtle holographic effect. I love it!!!
For the swatching purposes I applied two easy coats.
Pink And Nothing But The Pink – Il Etait Un Vernis Welcome To Paradise
This one is almost a one coater, you can get away with only one coat if you make it lumpy. But I did two here.
I don’t know about the pink part here, I mean it’s there, but the polish is more red to me than pink. And it’s soooo pigmented and I love the fact that the holo is subtle again, because that way you get a colour that pops, but at the same time it’s holo too. If the holo is too strong then you don’t get such pigmentation and I prefer them the way they are, saturated with colour and subtle with holo.
Born To Be Rad – Il Etait Un Vernis Welcome To Paradise
Again, blue pigments are making it hard to photograph. It is such a beautiful purple polish in person and you can check for more accurate hue on their web page iletaitunvernis.com. It’s vibrant and again with a subtle holographic effect.
I did two easy normal coats to reach full opacity.
Peace, Love And Chill – Il Etait Un Vernis Welcome To Paradise
It’s a beautiful mint green or maybe a lagoon green that is again saturated with pigments and the holo is subtle again. Perfect!!
And again two easy normal coats for full opacity.
Captain Blue Sky – Il Etait Un Vernis Welcome To Paradise
The formula is the same as with all the other polishes, easy to work with and it needed two coats to reach full opacity.
The saturation is again amazing!! And the holo is again subtle, just the way I like it with blue polishes. It gives the polish the depth and at the same time it doesn’t stand out too much. Perfect again!!
The polishes were provided for my honest review and I gave you one. I love them all and one of my favourites has to be the rose gold one *_*.
Thank you for reading and see you in next post. Have fun!! xoxo
