Hi guys!! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty interesting and full of new acquaintances. If you follow me on IG then you know what I am talking about. If you don’t I am going to tell you :). I attended the SummerMBeauty bloggers event. I have learnt some tips and tricks about contouring and highlighting and got a ton of products to test. But sadly only one nail lacquer was among them. So only that polish will make it to my blog. But nevertheless, the experience was great and I met some brands I otherwise wouldn’t. And you can read all about the SummerMBeauty event here.
Now let’s concentrate on this mani, shall we. To tell you the truth I was soo uninspired and I had no idea what to make. And then I said ok, I am going to make reverse stamping. And then I went through my collection of stamping plates and I found this tribal pattern. So I decided to make tribal nails. And for the colour inspo I asked Google :D. Here is the result.
So, my technique here was reverse stamping. For the base I applied Essie – Between The Seats (you can check in this article for the swatches and review: Essie Bridal 2016 – Mrs Always-Right Collection – Swatches & Review) on all of my nails and waited to get dry. Meanwhile I started doing nail decals. I used my Uber Chich mat as my workstation. I applied one coat of top coat five times (to make five decals) and waited until it got dry. Then I stamped the pattern from Bundle Monster plate BM-S310 from Festival collection with MoYou London – Beach House stamping polish on all the top coat decals.
Then I applied Essie – Lovie Dovie, Essie – Hide & Go Chic and Rimmel – Neon Fest by Rita Ora over the stamped pattern with the dotting tool. After the polishes were dry I applied one coat of that same top coat to seal the pattern. When the decals were dry (but not to dry) I peeled them off of the mat and turned them so that the bottom side was now on top. I put them on nails and cut off the edges with scissors. I cleaned up the excess polish and then sealed the mani with the fast drying top coat.
I hope you like these tribal nails. Take care, have fun and be good. Till next time!! xoxo
