Tropical Nails

Tropical Nails

Hi guys!! Today I have something tropical for you. But let me tell you that it wasn’t my intention for this mani to look tropical :). What I had in mind was grass and then some flowers and butterflies stamped on this grass. But instead I got these green patches and the more I look at them, the more they look tropical to me. Like some abstract tropical leaves. So I decided to name them tropical nails :).

Firstly I applied the base polish and I have chosen Essie – Spin The Bottle, a perfect nude and soil like looking base. And after it dried I did random dry brush strokes with Essie – Chillato, Essie – Vibrant Vibes, Essie – Melody Maker and Il Etait Un Vernis – We Want You For NPA Army. The last one is holographic and it adds a bit of sparkle.

And the flowers and the butterflies were stamped with MoYou London – Beach House and Essie – Bachelorette Bash and MoYou London stamping plates No. 2 & 10 from Mother Nature collection.

As always I sealed the mani with fast drying top coat.

So, what do you think of my tropical nails? I like it more and more. At first I was like what is this, but now it’s growing on me. You know, like with some songs, you hear it for the first time and it sounds weird, but then when you listen to it several times it becomes one of your favourite songs. This is how I feel about his mani :).
