Essence – Lights Of Orient – Nail Art

Essence - Lights Of Orient - Nail Art

Hi guys!!! How are you doing? I am great!! Me and my hubby were at the Muse concert in Milano, Italia on Tuesday and it’s been awesome!! 🙂 But now I am back and here is what I did a few days ago.

I bought two polishes and temporary tattoos from the new Essence – Lights Of Orient collection. I had no intention of buying these and to be honest I thought they were all sold out, especially the tattoos, but to my surprise they still had them at my nearest dm store. The polishes looked so pretty and I wanted the tattoos so I grabbed them and made these.

The tattoos are meant for the skin, but I used them for the nail art and they worked perfectly on the nails and with the top polish (it didn’t shrink them or anything).

And as for the polishes, they amazed me with their formula. The application was so easy. I first applied two coats of Essence – Princess Jasmines Choice and it went on like butter. There was no streakiness even though this is a nude polish and such polishes sometimes tend to be streaky and patchy. But not his one. And after it was dry I sponged on the gradient made of Princess Jasmines Choice and Essence – The Sultan’s Daughter. I applied one coat of fast drying top coat over the gradient to make it dry faster.

After half an hour I applied the tattoos and sealed the mani with the top coat.

I like how this manicure turned out. The gold tattoos compliment the mauve polishes and they bring the mani to life. The only downside here was that they chipped very quickly. I was so sad about that, because I was very impressed by the formula and the colours.

Thank you for reading and see you in the next post. xoxo
