Blue Holographic Chaos Stamped With Black

Blue Holographic nails

Hi guys!! Today I have blue nails for you. They look like space nails, but that wasn’t my intention. I wanted them to be ‘random brush strokes’ like, but I guess it’s impossible to make them like that without looking like space nails. And I think it’s because of all the holographic particles, they look like stars in the sky.

I used several different blue shades and one polish included small glitter. Here is how I made them.

Each polish I used was from a different brand. I started with applying two coats of ncLA – Wandering Stars. And after it was dry I started dry brushing the rest of the polishes. First was Picture Polish – Cyan and then ILNP – Float On. Both of these are light blue to create the contrast among the hues.

Then I applied dry brush strokes of the two darker shades. Cadillacquer – The Night Is Dark And Full Of Terrors, which contains small glitter and Il Etait Un Vernis – Crush On Blue, another holographic polish. And to finish the dry brushing I did some minor strokes with Cyan again, just to make the lighter shades more visible.

And for the stamping I used MoYou London plate No. 04 from Holy Shapes Collection and Kaleidoscope – Black stamping polish.

I sealed the mani with my usual fast drying top coat.

I know, today I went big on photos, but I just can’t resist posting so many. Just two more and then I am finished :).

Sooo, how do you like these blue nails? I am loving them and I think I should try and make a similar mani with other colours too. Maybe a red and purple/fuchsia combination would look good too? I’ll try and I’ll post it here for you to see.

Thank you for reading and see you in the next post. xoxo
