Easter Bunny As A Nail Art

Happy Easter everyone!! I am not religious or anything, but I still like to make Easter eggs and eat all the good stuff for Easter :). And of course I had to make an Easter mani. This year I decided to make a bunny and some water marble.

I started with my pinkie where I applied Cirque Colors – Chelsea Girl. On my ring finger I applied KBShimmer – Eyes White Open as a base for the water marble. I painted my middle with Cirque Colors – Key To Gramercy, pointer with Cirque Colors – Fire Island and thumb with Cirque Colors – Rhapsody In Blue.

After applying two coats of every polish I waited a bit and when it was dry I started with the water marble. I used a plastic cup and I poured in a cold water (the water with the room temperature didn’t seem to work properly. The polish drop just sunk to the bottom and didn’t spread on the surface). Then I started to drop the polish in to the water one by one in two takes. And when the last drop was in I started to make a pattern with a toothpick. When I was satisfied with the pattern, I just dipped my finger in to it. Oh, and before I did that, I applied Cuticle Defender from Kaleidoscope all around the finger to protect the skin from polish.

After removing the Cuticle Defender I cleaned the rest of the polish with the brush.

And the rabbit. I did it with white, pink and black acrylic paint. First I did a totally white rabbit and then I painted pink ears and the nose. And the last I included black eyes, mouth and whiskers.

I sealed everything with Essie – Good To Go.
