Hi guys!! I took some time off and I was very busy with posts about my advent calendars so I wasn’t able to do anything else for my blog. And I hope it was worth it, because you will get a ton of swatches of all the polishes that were inside the two beautiful calendars.
Today I am going to show you Ciaté London Mini Mani Month Calendar. It’s exterior was inspired by London itself and I am in LOVE with this city. I’ve been there three times already and I want to go there over and over again. So naturally it got my attention the minute I saw it. The calendar has 24 windows to open, so I got a small gift every day, well actually two gifts from both calendars.
Here is the content of Ciaté London Mini Mani Month Calendar: 1 glass nail file, 3 treatments, 2 nail toppers, 17 mini paint pot polishes and an exclusive full size paint pot.
And before you click Read more I must warn you that this is a heavy picture post.
DAY 1 – Ciaté London – Heirloom
It’s a gorgeous multichrome polish. I did three easy coats for full opacity, but you can do 1 coat over black polish and you have a multichrome top coat. The colour shifts from purple to brown to yellow.
DAY 2 – Ciaté London – Check Mate
It’s a glitter top coat that contains black and white squares of different sizes. This is one easy coat over Raspberry Collins (this comes latter on in the calendar). The payout of glitter was perfect.
DAY 3 – Ciaté London – Pom Pom
In my notebook it only says two easy coats, so it must have really been only that. There’s really nothing more to say because the colour speaks for itself. It’s gorgeous and more suitable for the summer time.
DAY 4 – Ciaté London – Cutie Pie
I loved this polish on my nails, it felt so refreshing to have something this simple on after so many different colours. It is a sheer creme and I applied two coats for the swatches. It was very easy to apply and there was no streakiness.
DAY 5 – Ciaté London – Bloom Boost
It is supposed to whiten your nail tips leaving nails revitalised and healthy-looking. I haven’t tried it yet, so I can’t comment on it.
DAY 6 – Ciaté London – Snow Globe
I don’t know where I stand on this one, but definitely more on the NO side. The payout of the glitter wasn’t good, I had to fish for it and as you can see even then the payout wasn’t OK. And the glitter itself isn’t sitting well on the nails. I did one coat over Double Bubblegum.
DAY 7 – Ciaté London – Ahoy Sailor
Gorgeous turquoise, perfect for spring or summer. I applied two super easy coats and it was self levelling beautifully.
DAY 8 – Ciaté London – Chalet Chic
My first exact thought when I opened the bottle was: “Oh, shit, there’s a brush missing!” 😀 And a second latter I realised it’s actually just a glitter dust. And I love it. I mean, I am not going to wear it as a sole mani, but I am definitely using it in nail art.
I know you wouldn’t wear this topper as I applied it, but I wanted to show you the full scale of its 3D effect. I sprinkled it over one “not dry yet” coat of Cutie Pie and it looked like freshly fallen snow, it sparkled like crazy.
And I have to say, big thumbs up to Ciaté London, they surprised me with this one and I am impressed!!!
DAY 9 – Ciaté London – Glass Nail File
DAY 10 – Ciaté London – Knight In Shining Armour
DAY 11 – Ciaté London – Life’s A Peach
It’s a perfect coral for the summer. I applied two coats for full opacity, but for some reason it wasn’t self levelling as it should be.
DAY 12 – Ciaté London – A List
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!!! Everything about it is perfect, the formula, the application, the outcome. It was very easy to apply and the most important thing for me was that there were no brush strokes after it dried. It’s what makes it so beautiful! I think the macro shot of this polish is my favourite of all time!
DAY 13 – Ciaté London – Double Bubblegum
Again, my notebook says only two easy coats. Perfect lilac for springtime.
DAY 14 – Ciaté London – Raspberry Collins
It was very easy to apply and opaque in two coats. Perfect neon pink for the summer!
DAY 15 – Ciaté London – Birthday Blue
Let me pause for a while and look at it. Oh my, so stunning! I applied two easy coats for full opacity. There are some minor brush strokes, but they weren’t visible in person. And the macro is just gorgeous! Perfect blue!
DAY 16 – Ciaté London – Miracle On 34th
This one was the same as Chalet Chic, glitter dust, but for some reason it wasn’t falling out evenly so you can see some bare nail spots. And again I will only use it in nail art.
DAY 17 – Ciaté London – Shady Lady
This polish was opaque in two coats and a bit brushstrokey, but nothing major. But it is a beautiful muted grey/ silver.
DAY 18 – Ciaté London – Purple Rain Bow
It’s another glitter topper. I applied one easy coat over Dangerous Affair. The payout of the glitter was perfect.
DAY 19 – Ciaté London – Dangerous Affair
Gorgeous blood red. It is a bit sheer and hardly opaque in two coats. I did two coats here, but maybe I should have done three. And it has a jelly finish.
DAY 20 – Ciaté London – Nail Gym
Another treatment from Ciaté London, but I haven’t tried it yet.
DAY 21 – Ciaté London – Prima Ballerina
Beautiful neutral grey that was opaque in two easy coats.
DAY 22 – Ciaté London – Hutch
I have already swatched this polish in this post, so I am going to show you the same photos and you can read the review in the link.
DAY 23 – Ciaté London – Cookies & Cream
The hardest polish of the bunch for me to work with. I did two coats, but it was still a bit sheer and streaky.
DAY 24 – Ciaté London – Rom Com Rouge
This is a full size nail polish and it is an exclusive to the Mini Mani Month. It was easy to apply and the payout of the glitter was perfect. The hex glitter comes in three different sizes. I did one coat over Cookies & Cream.
This is the 24 days of Mini Mani Month in one post. I enjoyed swatching every single one, maybe only Cookies & Cream wasn’t the easiest to work with, but still, all the others were amazing. And I will definitely try all of the treatments in the next few months.
Once again all in one place.
What do you think of this calendar? I like it a lot!
Till next time, thank you for reading and enjoy yourselves! xoxo
