I don’t know what it is about me lately but subtle manis are my thing apparently. I just can’t get enough of them. Well, this one is not so subtle, but it’s made of light colours. I have been wanting to make a blue Christmas Tree on my nails, so this is what happened.
My base colour was Essie – Virgin Snow, perfect winter lilac blue (reviewed here). I did two coats and then I applied one coat of Essie – Good To Go over it. On the ring finger I applied two coats of Essie – Blanc and again one coat of Good To Go.
After it dried I dotted the Christmas Tree with dotting tool and Essie – Mint Candy Apple, Essie – Make Some Noise, Essie – Garden Variety and Essie – Apres-Chic.
Then I sponged on Blanc and Apres-Chic on the rest of my fingers. Here is a close up on both of them.
And on top of everything I applied Essie – Gel Setter. I manly use it to seal the nail art because it doesn’t smudge the pattern, it’s much better for this than Good To Go.
What do you think? And I promise I will do something more energetic next time :).
Thank you for reading and see you in next post.
