Happy Friday everyone!! This time I decided to make a list of 5 essential products that your hands can’t go without through the winter. I was thinking of keeping hands worm when you are outside, keeping them moisturised and removing the dead skin so that all the good stuff from moisturisers can absorb well in to the skin.
1. Lush – Lemony Flutter
I have already talked about this product in this post and I am liking it more and more. It’s amazing how well it does it’s job! But the smell, that scent is the only downside. But I kind of got used to it and I don’t notice it as much any more.
2. L’Occitane – Shea Butter Hand Cream
This is my favourite hand cream I have ever tried. It moisturises and nourishes your skin really well. I have repurchased it a couple of times and will do it again when this one runs out. It is enriched with 20% shea butter. Honey, almond extracts and coconut oil are blended with the light and alluring aromas of jasmine and ylang-ylang essences to create this extremely effective care. It does smell amazing!
3. L’Occitane LE Hand Creams – Melting Honey Hand Cream, Jasmin Immortelle Neroli Hand Cream, Pamplemousse and Rhubarbe Hand Cream, Miel-Mandarine Hand Cream
I already talked about the creams made together with Pierre Hermé here. But here I am adding one more from the L’Occitane’s Limited Editions. It’s Melting Honey Hand Cream, it helps to protect, nourish and soften the hands, while enveloping them in a delicious scent of honey. It combines an exceptional concentration of shea butter (25%) with softening honey from Provence, in a unique whipped texture easy to apply. And it really looks like whipped cream, it even comes out of the tube making sounds that the whipped cream from the can is doing :).
4. L’Occitane – One Minute Hand Scrub
The formula of this hand scrub is amazing. It reveals incredibly soft hands in only a minute. I have been using it for over a year now and I still haven’t found anything like it. This bi-phase formula consists of an exfoliating organic sugar to gently scrub and eliminate dead skin cells and of oils (shea, sweet almond and grapeseed oils) to help soften and nourish hands. This is really a must have for not just a winter time, but all year round. And it comes with this small spatula which helps to mix the two phases before use.
5. Worm And Cozy Mittens
I think they should be on the top of this list and they are the key factor to protect your hands from harmful cold. When I don’t use my gloves, my hands start to get itchy when they get cold and after a few days the skin starts to crack. But when I use them regularly the skin doesn’t itch and it remains smooth and healthy. And these mittens are from my younger daughter, they are so cute and small, just perfect for the photos.
And what are your essentials to keep your hands in a good condition? Have I missed anything? And can you recommend me something that you love and you think I should try?
Thank you for reading and have a lovely weekend!
