Hi guys!! It was really snowing on Saturday! Me and my elder daughter went out and about and she was all excited how the landscape looks when it’s covered in snow and she was running around in the snow and being intrigued by all of it. It was great to see her that happy. In the end we made a snowman in the garden! On the other hand, the little one wasn’t enthusiastic at all, she didn’t want to walk on the snow : ). But she’s only two years old, so she’ll come around.
And talking about the snow and all, I have swatches and review of this year’s Holiday Collection from Cirque Colors for you. I can tell you that I am in love with all of them, the polishes are just perfect for the season. Also, I really like that this collection is so small, I think that brands are getting crazy with their big 12 or more polish collections. I prefer the small ones, because they feel more personal.
Reflektor – Cirque Colors Holiday 2015
It’s got a perfect name, because it shines like crazy. *_* I can’t even begin to describe it, it’s that amazing! And it has no holo effect which is perfect for a change, because I wanted something non-holographic and shiny like this!
It is a silver polish full of micro silver flakes. It is supposed to be a platinum silver, but on my nails it looks a bit golden, which I love!
The application was easy and it was opaque in two coats.
And the removal was easy because it contains only flakes, no glitter.
Halcyon – Cirque Colors Holiday 2015
Hands down, this is my favourite of the collection. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it on the web *_*. It’s so gorgeous and I don’t need to tell you about my latest obsession with rose gold, although this isn’t totally rose gold, but it leans more towards peach. But I don’t care, I love it nonetheless.
It sparks like crazy and again it contains no holo particles, exactly what I have been looking for.
It needed two easy coats for full opacity. Amazing!
And again, easy removal due to the flakes only.
Madder – Cirque Colors Holiday 2015
It is a perfect Christmas red polish with subtle linear holo effect. I actually like the holo here, because it spices the colour up a bit and it’s subtle, so it doesn’t shine to crazy. And it looks more like shimmer with the special Holiday sparkle than the actual holographic.
The application was smooth and easy and it was a one coater. But I applied two coats as always.
You see, it’s beautiful!
And there is another shade in this collection called AU. Annie, the creator of Cirque Colors, brought this polish back for the holidays. I think it was a part of last year’s Holiday Collection and it is made with genuine 23K gold leaf flake. But I only got the shades I’ve shown you above.
Thank you for reading and have a great week! Peace and Love!! xoxo
