ILNP – Fall 2015 Collection – My Picks – Swatches & Review

ILNP Fall 2015 Collection Swatches & Review

Hello everybody!! How are you feeling today? I am great and I have my picks from a great fall collection to show you. This collection is from ILNP – I Love Nail Polish brand. I didn’t pick all of the polishes from this collection, because there were just too many of them, 17. I picked 8 and even that is a big number.

Spiced Eggnog – ILNP Fall 2015

Spiced Eggnog ILNP Fall 2015

I had such high hopes for this polish, but it turned out to be too yellow for my taste. Some of the swatches on the web showed it more vanilla like, so I hoped it would be like that, but sadly for me the yellow ones were correct. And this yellow undertone didn’t look too good on my hands. I still like it in the photos, but not so much in person.

However it was easy to apply and I did two coats for full opacity, so if you like the colour, then just go for it.

Clockwork  – ILNP Fall 2015

Clockwork ILNP Fall 2015

This one on the other hand was just stunning. It was everything I expected it to be and more. The rose gold/bronze flakes make it so gorgeous! And it constantly reminds me of one of my favourite albums lately …Like Clockwork from Queens Of The Stone Age and I love it even more because of that.

Clockwork ILNP Fall 2015

It was easy to apply, two coats to reach full opacity. The holo is amazing here, but I like it better in the shade where all the bronze flakes come to life!

Overnight Bag  – ILNP Fall 2015

Overnight Bag ILNP Fall 2015

Another amazing polish in this collection. This one is full of rainbow holographic flakes that pop out of this polish so beautifully because of its darker base.

Again, two easy coats for full opacity.

And here you can see the rainbow flakes, it’s simply gorgeous!!

After Midnight  – ILNP Fall 2015

After Midnight ILNP Fall 2015

A jelly blue base full of holographic particles. It’s like a night sky (only brighter) full of stars.

After Midnight ILNP Fall 2015

I reached full opacity with two easy lumpy coats, but if you prefer applying thin coats, you will probably need three.

Mountain View  – ILNP Fall 2015

Mountain View ILNP Fall 2015

This one has the same great formula as the After Midnight. I did two lumpy cotas for full opacity.

Mountain View ILNP Fall 2015

The only complaint that I have about this polish is that there are not enough bronze flakes in it. I don’t think I even got one on my nails, so that was very disappointing for me.

Mountain View ILNP Fall 2015

I can’t find a bronze flake in this macro shot and I don’t think they were present on other nails either, so sad.

Greatness  – ILNP Fall 2015

Greatness ILNP Fall 2015

Oh my, look at this molten caramel on my nails. Seriously, I want to eat my nails right now. I can even smell the caramel just from looking at the photos :).

Greatness ILNP Fall 2015

It shifts from golden brown to red brown, perfect fall polish! I applied two easy coats to make it look this good. And this is without the top coat, it’s that glossy.

You can see that there are brush strokes present, but only in photos. In person they were barely visible.

The Road To Awe  – ILNP Fall 2015

The Road To Awe ILNP Fall 2015

This is an Ultra Chrome Flakie polish that shifts from pink, purple, copper to gold. I did one lumpy coat over Greatness.

The Road To Awe ILNP Fall 2015

This two polishes together are so perfect for fall. It’s like looking at the trees and their leaves falling to the ground where they change all kind of colours and mix with the brown soil. Amazing how the polish can trigger so many images in your head.

See, it’s breathtaking!

Glory  – ILNP Fall 2015

Glory ILNP Fall 2015

This is an Ultra Chrome Flakie polish too, only this one shifts only from yellow, copper to brown/red.

Glory ILNP Fall 2015

I did one coat over Clockwork. And it literary looks like the fall leaves. It reminds me mostly of maple leaves.

All in all these polishes are amazing, well except for the Spiced Eggnog, but I just don’t like the colour. There is nothing wrong with polish itself.

Have you picked any of the polishes from ILNP Fall 2015 collection and which ones?

Thank you for reading and see you with the next post. xoxo

    Nice pics 🙂

I'm not sure about Spice Eggnog. I haven't picked this one up but really want to get it on the on the one hand. But on the other hand, I don't want to be disappointed since this is really not what I usually gravitate toward.

I got Overnight Bag, After Midnight and Mountain View (and Diablo). I apply three coats of AM and MV because the colours are deeper and more intense in three than in two in my opinion. 🙂

    Thank you maviesanscruaute.fr. <3

I agree with you that more coats make polish deeper and the colour becomes intense, but I wanted to try if lumpy coats worked here and if they made the polish opaque in two coats 🙂 But otherwise I totally agree with you.
