Happy Friday guys! Today I will show you my picks from O.P.I’s Venice Collection. I must say I wasn’t to impressed with the colours in this collection, but these three caught my eye from the moment I saw the collection.
They all look more like spring colours, but I like them so much I decided to buy them. And you can check all the swatches after the break. Enjoy!
Be There In A Prosecco – O.P.I Fall/Winter 2015
As described on O.P.I’s page this is an opaque crème. This one reminds me a lot of Tiramisu crème, but it is not the one that is named after the delicious Italian dessert. I think I just got an idea what will be for dessert this weekend :).
So, it was a bit streaky on the first coat, less streaky on the second, but I had to add a third coat to make it totally even. So three coats for no streakiness, but two coats are enough to reach full opacity. And it was a bit chalky, strange.
As the O.P.I description suggests it has a crème finish.
I loooove this colour, but the application wasn’t as easy as I hoped it would be. It didn’t give me that much trouble, so I am definitely going to wear it again and again and again. And just looking at the photos makes me yearn for Tiramisu.
And the comparisons shot. I don’t have any dupes here. I thought Wrap Me Upa was going to be very close, but as you can see it is not.
I Cannoli Wear OPI – O.P.I Fall/Winter 2015
Gorgeous light grey that has a very similar application as the previous polish. Three coats to make it totally even, but it was opaque in two coats.
I loved this one on my hands, a lot, and I am happy that I have it even though it is not the most perfect polish. But it’s worth to be careful and make it look like it looks in the photos.
And comparisons shot. No dupes here either.
Purple Palazzo Pants – O.P.I Fall/Winter 2015
It is a gorgeous lilac and I think this one actually is kind of appropriate for the winter season, well actually, these three are all more winter colours than fall.
This one had a bit of a jelly touch in the formula, so it was easier to apply than the first two. It still has a crème finish, but the jelly was present when I was applying it and that made it easy to work with. I put on two coats for full opacity and this time I didn’t have to put on the third to make it even, because it was already even with only two.
And no dupes here either. Palazzo Pants is actually somewhere in between purple and lilac colour, so I don’t have anything like it.
So what do you think of my three choices? Did you pick up any of the shades from this collection and which ones?

Thank you for reading and have a great weekend! xoxo
