Hi everyone!! How was your weekend? Mine was more on the lazy side. I didn’t feel like doing anything so we stayed at home both days and were doing nothing :).
And now to my mani. I chose to mix up the three polishes from Essie’s Fall Collection and you can see the result after the break.
They look so gorgeous together and perfect for fall nail art. The blue is Essie – Bell-Bottom Blues, the red is Essie – In The Lobby and the golden is Essie – Leggy Legend.
I did the gradient with the sponge, but firstly I applied the barrier between the cuticle and polish by Kaleidoscope.
I sponged on two coats of the gradient for full coverage. Because the gradient wasn’t even I applied a top coat and after that it looked prefect.
Look how gorgeously the golden and the red one overlap. I think that is due to the pink flakes in the golden polish. Just beautiful!
And the last thing I have to tell you is about the clean up. It was massive! That blue polish got under my cuticles even though I applied the barrier and it was very hard to remove. Really, very hard! I think it took me about 45 min to do the clean up and there are still some spots of the skin that are covered in blue, so sorry about that.
What do you think? Do you like the combo?
Thank you for reading and see you next time! xoxo
