Hi everyone!! Today I have for you some nail art made with Essie Silk Watercolor Collection. This collection is made out of 8 coloured polishes and one white polish which is meant to be a base for your nail art. All the colours are sheer and are meant to be layered or mixed to create a watercolour effect and the white base is opaque in two coats. They are all very easy to work with and they mix and layer amazingly. I just love the result. So let me show you what I have done with them. I didn’t use all of the polishes, only the left side of the box that they came in.
For this gradient I used White Page as a base (on all of my nails). Then I applied Muse, Myself and then Art New-Beau and on the tip of my nail I used Love Sheen. I love how different this gradient looks from all the others that I am used to seeing on the web.
And in the photo bellow is the flowery pattern. I started with the Muse, Myself in the middle of the flowers and then I added Art New-Beau, Love Sheen and No Shrinking Violet to create multiple layers of flower petals. And it was really hard to photograph because of all the layers. They are not all in focus, so the photos look like none of them is really in focus:).
I like this mani, it is full of colour and it is perfect for the summer. I will definitely be doing some nail art again with this collection, because it is so much fun. And I had so much fun creating this look.
Oh, and I don’t have any of the O.P.I’s similar collections, so I can’t compare it with those two.
What do you think? Would you buy a polish from Essie Silk Watercolor that is meant only of nail art?
Have a great day and see you in next post! xoxo
