Hi everyone!! I am so excited to be back!! I can’t believe how much I missed blogging and painting my nails and taking photos of them. I think I’m addicted :).
Our vacation was hot, very hot. It was around 38°C (100°F) for a week and on that week the nights were hot too, it was 35°C (95°F) at 10pm for a few days :O. We had air conditioning and we set it to 27°C (80°C) and it felt like it was so cold. We eventually had to turn it off, because we started to cough and our throats were sore. But luckily we were at the sea, so we jumped in to the water whenever we felt like it. The kids loved it. They wanted to be in the water all the time or play with the sand on the beach. But now I am happy to be back home, because there is no place like home.
And the mani. Today I have a chevron mani for you. A month ago I managed to order some nail vinyls from Svenjas Nailart and I must say that I looove them. I had no problems with applying them to my nails and then removing them. And most of all the polish didn’t run under the stickers. This way my chevrons were perfect!
The polishes I used here are Colors by Llarowe – Well Done! Woo! Woo! Woo!.
And Colors by Llarowe – A Lot More Help Sucking Up. This one has a perfect coverage, because I applied it over the turquoise polish and one coat was enough.
In this macro shot you can see how beautifully the chevrons were made.
And the last photo is a swatch of Well Done! Woo! Woo! Woo!. I applied it first, took photos of it and then I did my chevrons. The polish is opaque in two easy coats and I had no problems with it whatsoever.
These two work so great together and are perfect blue and green/turquoise colours for summer. And what are your thoughts on this one?
Thank you for reading and see you next time. xoxo
