Hi guys!! How are you today? Here is raining so I have to think of something for us girls to do in the afternoon. Maybe we will go for a ride because my older girl doesn’t sleep in the kindergarten anymore (although she still needs her afternoon nap). And if we’re outside that doesn’t seem to be a problem. But when we’re in the house she gets all cranky so we’ll probably drive around for a while for her to sleep :).
And for you my dear readers I have Essie – Suite Retreat swatches and review. This is the namesake colour of Essie Resort 2015 Collection and I only bought this one so far.
This one was really was hard to photograph. It is slightly more purple in person and I don’t know it looked so blue in some pictures. So I guess the colour varies depending on the light.
You can see here that it is a bit more purple than in the previous photo.
The application was easy, no streakiness and no brush strokes and it was almost a one coater. If you did a one lumpy coat, you could probably get away with only one. But here I did two on all nails.
And I think me and this thin US brush are becoming friends, because I had no issues with it at all. In fact I think it is the reason I did the lines around the cuticles so perfect. You can see that in this macro shot.
And in this photo you can see the blue side of it. But it is never that blue in person, at least not on my hands.
What do you think of Essie – Suite Retreat? I think Essie nailed it with this one. Perfect in every way!
Edit: I have swatches of anther shade from Essie Resort 2015 collection and you can see them in this post: Essie – Stones N’ Roses – Swatches & Review.
Thank you for reading and see you in the next post!! xoxo
