Essie – Power Clutch – Swatches & Review

Essie Power Clutch

Hi everyone!! How are you doing? We went to the ZOO today. It was a beautiful weather and the kids loved the animals. Especially the little monkeys. And they have goats that you can pet and go to them. And girls loved that they were able to touch them. It was great!

And now to my mani. Today I have chosen Essie – Power Clutch, a shade from their Fall 2011 Collection.

It goes so beautifully with my casual dress that I am wearing in the photo. And exposure to direct light gives it a smokey touch.

The brush in this one had bristles of different sizes, so I had to cut them a little and that was a little annoying. Maybe it was just my brush, but I hope that there aren’t many like that in other bottles.

Other than that I had no problems with it. It went on smoothly and it was opaque in two easy coats.

It was easy to work around the cuticles. Even when I touched the cuticles, the polish just stayed there and waited for me to remove it, it didn’t flood them at all, so that was a big plus.

And of course the colour of this one. I can’t decide whether it is a grey or a darkened green, but it probably is a mixture of both. It is beautiful and I like it on my skin tone.

So that’s all for today, just a simple mani, no nail art. See you soon. xoxo
