Hello everybody! I wish everyone a happy Saturday! Today I have some art for you. I think it was about time after all the swatching I have been doing. And I also decided to go for something more bold, a purple mani. Here is what I did.
I chose Picture Polish – Imperial as my base. This is a collaboration shade between Picture Polish and The Swatchaholic. It is a majestic purple with scatter holo, blue glass flecks and a smattering of small gold hex glitters. It dried matte, but that didn’t bother me, because I always use a top coat. After applying a top coat it did dry in to a shiny finish.
For my accent nails I used O.P.I – Do You Have This Color In Stockholm?. Also a beautiful purple shade, this one is a creme.
And then on that creme I stamped some flowery lace. I used MoYou London plate No. 7 from their Bridal Collection. I stamped it with Essie – Penny Talk. This coppery metallic is perfect for combining with those hex glitters in Imperial, they look coppery to me not gold :).
Here is the macro of stamping and Imperial. You can see that Penny Talk is really good for usage in stamping nail art.
What do you think? Too bright for spring? I don’t think so. I think it is great to liven things up.
