Hello hello everyone!! How are you doing on this beautiful Thursday? It’s still cold here, but the sky is clear and I can’t wait for the sun to come up. Days are getting longer and I can smell the spring coming. It’s about time! And today my nails are coloured in a spring mood too :).
My inspiration was again my little daughter’s shirt. I don’t know what it is about these little shirts, but they all have patterns or pictures that are perfect for nails :).
So here it is.
I did some butterflies on a beautiful lilac/lavender polish. It is Picture Polish – Wisteria. I think it is inspired by Desperate Housewives’ Wisteria Lane.
It’s a gorgeous shade for getting into the spring mood. It was opaque in two coats. When I was applying it, it was a little brush strokey, but once it dried it got completely evened out. I must admit I was a little worried at first, cause I loved the colour and I didn’t want for it to be one of those polishes that I just can’t get right on my nails. But luckily it turned out to be a perfect lavender polish. At least for me.
And the butterflies, I did them with stamping. I used MoYou London plate No. 10 from their Mother Nature Collection.
I used Essie – Licorice and to add some sparkle I did dots with O.P.I – Turn On The Haute Light.
And what are your thoughts on this one? Is there spring yet where you live? I can’t wait for all the bird chirping and flower blooming to start :).
