Early Manicure For St. Patrick’s Day

Hello hello!! How are you doing? I am doing great! Today we are going to the sea side. It kind of became our tradition to go to Piran (a small town on Slovenian coast) on a first warmer weekend in spring or at the end of the winter. It is so great every year, because it is warmer there and the smell of the salt in the air, well it feels amazing! And it is only an hour and a half of a car drive.

So the spring is really coming now and there are all sorts of Holidays in many countries. One of them is St. Patrick’s Day. It is an Irish public holiday and is celebrated on the 17th of March every year. It’s main symbol is shamrock, a three-leafed clover native to Ireland. And I decided to paint one on my nails. As a base for this mani I used Picture Polish – Enchanting and I must say it is an amazing vibrant colour. Your nails just pop! At first it was too much for me, but now with this black patterns and all, it is amazing!

I painted the clover free hand, partially with a dotting tool and partially with a detail brush. And I used A England – Bridal Veil. The pattern on my ring and index finger was stamped with MoYou London plate No. 3 from their Artistic Collection. I chose to do a random pattern that had no connection to St. Patrick’s Day. The polish I used to stamp with was Essie – Licorice.

The Enchanting polish was so easy to use. You can see how close to my cuticles I painted it and how round the line is. Very easy. And I applied two coats for full opacity.

I can’t wait to go to the beach today and smell all the salt in the air :). I hope you’ll have fun too!! xoxo
