Hi guys! How are you doing?
Today’s word for the challenge was “animal”. Well, a couple of weeks ago I decided to do the pattern of my daughter’s shirt on my nails. It was a blue shirt with white butterflies print on it. At the time I didn’t know about this challenge so I said to myself I was going to do it sometime in the spring. But now I decided to do it for this challenge.
For the base I took Picture Polish – Cyan. I saw swatches of this polish many times. And I liked them. So I bought it for myself. But when I got it, I thought it was too bright for me. Boy I was wrong. It is radiant. My nails pop out. In a good way. And I just love them. I can’t stop starring at them :D.
For the butterflies I used stamping. MoYou London’s plate No. 9 from their The Pro collection. And Essie – Blanc for the white colour. It is gorgeous how the shimmer in the polish makes a great background for the butterflies. Just beautiful.
The polish was easy to apply, just like all of their polishes I have used before. I did two coats and a top coat.
I think this polish is great for the winter season as it is for the spring. A lovely transition. I know the winter is not over yet, but this stamping was meant to be done later, a few months later :). So I am allowed to do some daydreaming about the spring :).
