Hi guys! How are you doing? Well I was very busy for the last few days. My daughter’s birthday was yesterday and I had to shop for her present. We bought her an umbrella (she wished for one for so long :)) with Peppa Pig. And she loved it. Of course I had to make a cake for her to take to kindergarten. I made a paper cake. And in each piece I put small chocolates. The kids loved it and the teachers too. Here’s a pic of it.
Well I know this has nothing to do with polish, but anyway. I wanted to show you my creation for my daughter ;).
And this gave me inspiration for my manicure. Obviously it was about birthday. So I did some balloons on my nails. Here they are.
For a base I used Essie – Blanc. Originally I wanted to use Essie – Urban Jungle, but it was so hard to apply. My nails looked like a mess. It was streaky and not looking good. So I cleaned them and searched for a new polish. And I think that the white was a perfect substitute.
For the balloons I used several different polishes. Red Essie – Too Too Hot, yellow O.P.I – I Just Can’t Cope-Acabana, blue O.P.I – Suzi Says Feng Shui, pink O.P.I – Hey Baby, green O.P.I – My Dogled Is A Hybrid and black Essie – Licorice for strings.
And to top it all I wanted to put on a top coat from Catrice – Have An Ice Day. I put it on to my right hand, but as a painted my nails the polish was smudging the balloons. So I chose not to do that to nails on my left hand. So here they are with no shimmer.
