Hi everyone! Well I’m excited and a little scared at the same time for starting my own blog :). I’ve been playing with the idea for quite some time now and now I have finally decided to write it. As I have written in the section About Me I am in my thirties from Slovenia. I have two little girls who I adore. The older will be three soon and the younger is 10 months old. Well let’s not forget about my husband. He is the one who makes it possible for me to have the time to write this :). And I just love him for that.
And on to my first published mani that I did to honour breast cancer awareness month. My grandfather had this type of cancer (he died of it) and so I have to go to the doctor for a check up every few years.
Here is a close up on my thumb. I know pictures are not sharp, but I’m working on that.
I used O.P.I – Suzi & The Lifeguard as a base on all my fingers. I bought it a long time ago and I have no idea why since I am not a fan of pink polish. It needed two coats and it still showed some sheer spots on nails. And it also showed brush strokes (I guess it’s not that visible in pictures). That’s why I used O.P.I – Let’s Do Anything We Want over all nails except both ring fingers.
And the ring finger. I did the ribbon with O.P.I – Turn On The Haute Light. It’s sparkly enough so that it goes well with the glitter on all other nails. (And again please excuse the quality of the photo.)
Turn On The Haute Light is the kind of polish that I really like. It’s so sparkly and it has great opacity. It’s also easy to work with.
I like how this turned out.
So what do you think of my first post? Do you like it? Please leave your thoughts in the comment section below. xoxo
